Bore da and welcome to Cerrig Môr.

I am Sarah and I thought you might like to know how our journey with Cerrig Môr began.

A couple of years ago I moved to Aberystwyth, to be with my partner, Mark.  I have always loved the Welsh coastline and relished the opportunity for it to be on my doorstep.  Mark and I love nothing more than to visit our local beaches here in Ceredigion with our black Labrador, Dora.

Imagine my delight at finding a beautiful piece of blue sea glass on the sand at Ynyslas soon after I moved here.  I was hooked!  From that day, Mark and I spend hours walking the beaches, looking for sea glass. We had been displaying our sea glass in a large jar in our kitchen. We had collected pieces of glass in a variety of colours, shapes, size and age, all tumbled and worn by the sea. It wasn't long before our jar was full, so we decided to create some jewellery designs.   

I have always loved wearing silver jewellery. Our beautiful sea glass colours were a perfect compliment to the silver designs we chose.  Our silver and sea glass pendant necklaces made wonderful gifts for family and friends. They were so well received that we then decided to set up our online shop.
